Landscaping plants
Landscaping with plants as the name itself suggests is using plants cleverly and skillfully to add beauty to the surrounding areas of your house and garden and to enhance their aesthetic appeal. It involves planting shrubs, trees, flowers and more to beautify and enliven the surrounding area.
The first factor to take note of before planting is what plants you will be using and which area you will be planting them. There are plants that will grow well only in the sun. They simply love the sun's rays and will thrive and flourish in the sunlight. This type of plants is called Sun plants or full sun plants. You can plant them right in the middle of your garden directly under the sun. The other type of plants is those that will grow only in the shade. They will simply wither and die if they are exposed to sunlight. These are called Shade plants. So you have to plant these plants in the shady areas of your yard or garden.
Yet a third factor you need to consider is type of soil. Soils in some areas especially those near the sea have salt in them. This is a no - no for most plants as they cannot grow in such soils. So when planting in such areas ensure you select and plant only salt resistant plants.
